Annotation
The polarizabilities of subwave spherical silica glass particles are investigated with taking material dispersion into account. It is shown that the ranges of negative values for electric and magnetic polarizabilities are practically coinciding. This permits to use such particles for constructing of the medium with negative refractive index.
