The spin–electron acoustic waves and their role in explanation of high-temperature superconductivity
The spin–electron acoustic waves and their role in explanation of high-temperature superconductivity
P. Andreev
Spin–electron acoustic waves exist in the spin imbalanced electron gas. Quantum of these waves is called spelnons. The Coulomb exchange interaction decreases the area of their existence by the rather small spin polarization. It is demonstrated that the electronspelnon interaction forms the Cooper pairs of electrons. This mechanism of the Cooper pair formation leads to the high-temperature superconductivity in materials with the partially spin polarized carriers at high temperatures up to 300 K.

Teaching of minimizing methods while doing research works in secondary school
E.A. Mikhailov
Minimizing methods for different functionals is widely used in physical problems. Modern computers let use them even the pupils of secondary school. We have described them the least square method. As an example we used a problem of approximation the resistance temperature dependence for the thermistors. The studied material was used for doing research works that were presented on different conferences and competitions.

Modernization of physics demonstrations using new light sources
A.V. Seliverstov
The circumstances of demonstration equipment modernization had been formulated. The key features of light sources for demonstration experiments had been distinguished. Some illustrations of their modernization using up-to-date components are given.

Study of interference by example of equal inclination rings
S. B. Ryzhikov, Yu.V. Ryzhikova
The technique of observing the interference rings of equal inclination with a laser and lenses of glasses is suggested. The calculations of the size of the rings depending on the lens parameters are given. This experiment can be used as a lecture demonstration at the school and in high school, for laboratory work as well as students research work.

An example of the interactive teaching test is presented. As a task in investigation we consider the classic kinematic problem — the problem of body moving at an angle to the horizon in the gravity field. The structure of the teaching test is suggested

Brief introduction to the theory of Majorana neutrino
Mosharev P. A.
In the article it is shown, why and how in quantum field theory neutrino masses of Dirac and Majorana types are occurs and how classical experiments are consistent with the assumption of real neutrality of the neutrino. A review of the academic literature on this topic is given.

The isotope $^{136}$Xe. EXO, NEXT, KamLAND-Zen experiments
Kiselev M. D.
The article is dedicated to one of the most actual problems of modern nuclear physics - the study of the very rare decay mode known as double beta decay by the example of xenon-136 isotope. The article describes the principles of experimental observation of this decay mode with leading experiments in this field: EXO, NEXT and KamLAND-ZeN. There are schematics and description of the main parts of the experimental units. Also, the experimental results and their comparison are illustrated.

Double beta decay
Ishkhanov B.S.
Double beta decay can occur near the bottom part of the mass valley where a given nucleus $(A,Z)$ has an adjacent nucleus $(A,Z+1)$ with higher mass while the nucleus $(A,Z+2)$ has a lower mass corresponding to an energy difference $\Delta E$. Double beta decay does exist as a second order decay process. The lifetimes estimated are typically of the order $T\approx 10^{20}$ y. Double beta decay carries a number of very intriguing aspects related to neutrino properties. Double beta decay has been observed both by geochemical methods and with counters.
