Annotation

The subject of consideration is the features of teaching a course on optics of fractal objects for physics students. The classification of fractal objects according to their Fourier spectra is given. The scheme for analyzing fractals in the proposed educational course “Optics of Fractal Objects” is given. The main problems of the fractal optics course are discussed. The analysis of fractal objects is being systematized to obtain a qualitative and quantitative correspondence between the structure of the object being studied and its optical characteristics.
