The MHD model of high-latitudinal current sheet in the heliosphere

Annotation

It is developed an analytical MHD model of quasi-stationary conic-like current sheet (magnetic “tube”), which was detected by Ulysses over the South pole of the Sun. We can describe the main features of the observed structure in frame of stationary one-fluid MHD model: the sharp increase of the magnetic field compared to the surrounding magnetic field of solar wind, the sharp increases of plasma concentration, electric field, temperature, and drops in value of solar wind speed and plasma beta.
