Annotation
The paper presents the results of experimental studies of the interaction of the electron beam periodically varying diameter with an electromagnetic wave of large amplitude. Experimentally revealed the influence of various factors on the formation and size of pulsed beam current density in the bunches. Experimentally confirmed the feasibility of amplification and generation of the device with the pulsed beam. Compared with schemes with inhibition of electron beam investigated mock-up over broadband and more efficiency.
