The following work is devoted to the development and research of 3D model of intensive electron flow in virtual cathode generator in the framework of program CST Particle Studio. It is shown that in vircator system with additional deceleration generation appears due to the formation of two non-stationary virtual cathodes in the beam — in the drift space and in the electron gun area. The results of numerical simulation are in a good qualitative agreement with the data obtained during previous experimental research.
