The nucleation of magnetic inhomogeneities with diffuse magneto-optical contrast in the iron garnet film (210) by the electrically charged point probe was studied. The observation showed that the magneto-optical contrast modulation during this nucleation doesn't depend on the direction of the external magnetic field but it depends on the sign of the charge on the point electrode. So one can conclude that such nucleation is a result of the local electric field-induced magnetic anisotropy modulation. The change in the orthorhombic anisotropy constant at a probe voltage of 1.6 kV was estimated as $5\pm2$\%
