The aim of this work is to study inclusive differential spectra of prompt isolated photon production in proton–proton collisions measured with the ATLAS detector at center-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV.The analysis is based on published ATLAS experimental data available in the HEPData repository and processed using the ROOT software framework. The differential cross-section spectra are approximated by a power-law function, and the corresponding fit parameters are presented. A comparative analysis of associated production of prompt photons and Z bosons with hadronic jets (γ + jets and Z + jets) at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is performed. The obtained values of the power-law exponents and the ratio of differential cross sections for Z bosons and prompt photons at high transverse momenta are in agreement with the predictions of quantum chromodynamics and the Standard Model of electroweak interactions.
