The paper is devoted to investigation of 1,8 nm and 2,3 nm cadmium selenide quantum dots crystallized in glassy matrix. Nanoparticles were grown inside the liquid crystalline mesophase of pure cadmium octanoate. During the process of synthesis nanoparticles stabilize and orient inside a matrix. Spatial homogeneity of the samples was studied using Spatially-resolved epi-luminescent luminescence microscopy technique. Correlation between quantum dots sizes and sample structure was observed.
