Behavior of spatially extended systems at transition from time scale synchronization regime to the asynchronous dynamics is studied. Unidirectionally coupled Pierce diodes have been chosen as a system under study. Transition from the time scale synchronization regime to the asynchronous dynamics for spatially extended systems is shown to be performed through the ring intermittency.
